Weft QDA: Weft QDA is a tool to assist in the analysis of textual data such as interview transcripts, written texts and fieldnotes. It includes a number of fairly standard CAQDAS features. Please note CIDER does not endorse any research tools and resources, however CIDER members may find these research tools and resources helpful.
Ethno: Ethno is an on-line Java program that helps analyze sequential events. Analysis shows how observed events linked a given element to other elements. Please note CIDER does not endorse any research tools and resources, however CIDER members may find these research tools and resources helpful.
Transana: Transana is software for professional researchers who want to analyze digital video or audio data. Transana lets you analyze and manage your data in very sophisticated ways. Transana is inexpensive and Open Source. It was developed at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research. Qualitative Data Analysis - Online QDA: Online QDA is a set of training support materials which address common problems (both early and advanced) of using Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) methods and selected Computer Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis (CAQDAS) packages. Materials are grouped depending on the needs of different researchers, from complete novice in QDA to advanced user of CAQDAS.
