The Center for Distance Education research publications @ AUSpace
- Search and browse the scholarly collections of the Center for Distance Education (CDE) faculty at AUSpace. AUSpace is Athabasca University’s digital content repository. Its goal is to preserve and disseminate AU scholarly materials. It contains Publications, Articles, Books, Datasets, Learning Objects, Images, Blueprints, Presentations, Audio Recordings, Technical Reports, Videos, Working Papers and more.

Athabasca MDE Thesis Collection now online
- All of the Masters of Distance Education theses created since the program began are now available in full text from the AU Library Digital Reading room.

Commonwealth of Learning Practitioner Research Training Modules
- Free research training and resource modules available. The Commonwealth of Learning has released a series of print modules (20-40 pages each) on a variety of topics relevant to distance education research. These include evaluation, reporting results, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, etc. The modules are not comprehensive, but serve as very nice introduction, refresher, or first source training and reference documents. Thanks to COL for this free contribution to the community.

Web Center for Social Research Methods
- This website is for anyone involved or interested in applied social research and evaluation. There are a number of resources and links to other locations on the Web that deal in applied social research methods. One resource that CIDER members may find of value is an online version of "The Research Methods Knowledge Base" by William M.K. Trochim. This text is a comprehensive web-based textbook that addresses topics typically found in an introductory undergraduate or graduate course in social research methods.
